HI GUYS MY NAME IS DEVIN BLOCKER AND I AM 31 YEARS OLD, I WAS BORN WITH SCOLIOSIS AND MY MOM DID NOT TAKE THE NESSASERY STEPS TO CORRECT MY BACK OR MY SPINE. THE SCOLIOSIS DID NOT BOTHER ME UNTILL I WAS 17 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER THE LAST 14 YEARS ITS JUST GETTING WORSE AND WORSE.
NOW I CANT STAND FOR NO MORE THAN 30 MINUTES BEFORE IM IN SO SO MUCH PAIN THE PAIN IS SO UMBAREABLE MOST DAYS I JUST WONNA CRY, MOST DAYS I JUST ROLL AROUND IN THE BED, IT FEELS LIKE MY BACK IS ON FIRE AND IS ABOUT TO FALL OUT. IT STARTS FROM MY LOWER BACK AND JUST WORKS ITS WAY UP TO MY NECK AND BRANCHES OUTWARD TOWARDS MY COLLAR BONE. I CANT SIT FOR NO MORE THAN 10 BEFORE I FEEL THE SAME WAY. WHEN I GO TO BED IF I LAY ON MY STOMACH IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE IS BENDING MY BODY IN HALF TO WERE ITS ABOUT TO BREAK OFF IF I LAY ON EITHER ON OF MY SIDES IT FEELS LIKE MY SIDE IS CAVING IN AND I GET SHORT OF BREATH. I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF CURVES I HAVE ALL I KNOW IS THAT IF I DONT GET HELP SOON IMMA GO CRAZY, I TRIED MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THE PAIN BUT ITS 100 TIMES WORSE. IF THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT AND IF THERE IS A PLACE THAT DO THE SURGERY'S FOR FREE PLZZZZZ CONTACT ME AT BLOCKER.DEVIN@YAHOO.COM THANK YOU FOR LISTENING

Hi Jasmine. My name is Jodie and my daughter is McKinsay. She is also 11 yrs old. and has scoliosis. She has been wearing the
Spinecore brace for 9 mths. now. She never complains and no, it doesn't hurt her. The 1st few days were an adjustment to it, but now it is like a part of her. She does wear the body suit then the brace, then her clothes. No one even know she's wearing it. To go to the bathroom, there are snaps on the body suit that she just unsnaps. We re-took her x-rays in Aug. and her curve had progressed (got worse) 6 degrees. Whether or not it is actually helping her, we don't know. But I feel that it is less painful and easier to wear than the hard brace. Also, unlike the hard brace, she won't loose muscle in her back because she still has full range of motion. Please look into it and consider it. Good luck to you and I will say a prayer for you the same as I do my daughter. :)

I was 12 when I had my surgery for scoliosis. I have Two Herrington Rods from my neck to tail bone along each side of my spine. Yesterday was actually 10 years since the surgery. I am now pregnant with my second child and I did go in and retake x-rays to make sure everything was fine before getting pregnant again. I was told it was the same as before I even had a child, which isn't great but it is as good as it will get. I have TERRIBLE pain all the time and go to therapy all the time too. Is there anything I can do? I know my back "needed" the surgery but it is so frustrating that I was never in pain before and now it is constant. Looking for help :)

My son was just diagnosed ans has a 35 degree curve. He is in pain every day. He works part time after school and some times have to come home early because left leg hurts. His boss gets upset with him because he has to stand to make pizzas. We only found out that he has the curve about eight months ago around the same time he started the job. I don't see how this was missed while he was growing up because bending over and touching your toes to get your spine checked has always been a part of the back to school testing. Is it normal for his leg to hurt from time to time and his back and sides to hurt all of the time? He has had physical therapy to no avail. The doctor says because he is sone growing a brace won't do him any good. Every one seems to have a bad ending either way. Does anyone have a good testimony?

I was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 7.due to the severity of the curvature i had surgery at 10. I am now 40 and I too suffer daily. my curvature now is higher than when I had the surgery. What concerns me are the health risks I may be facing.
